"After doing much research on various pulse generators, I settled on purchasing the 'Little Thumpa' This is a very well made piece of equipment and works great! As soon I put it in use for locating Pex pipes it was easy to hear, loud and clear. A strong distinct heart beat like sound that was easy to follow. That's saying a lot considering there is clay and rocky soil here in Arkansas. The case which is offered as an option, is sturdy and quality made also.
